How glorious !! I love this study of transparency....a particular challenge for the painter,too. I was amazed when I tried to run some watery paint through those veins, which seem so fragile....but...it didn't work...there is a beautiful, unseen membrane between the 'netting'.......this is so wonderful, and especially fine with the textures too......f/v..........V

Description:

These are Dragonfly wings with texture added. I wish I could say that no Dragonfly was harmed in the making of this photograph, but it isn't true. My cat caught the Dragonfly which she considers summer sport, unfortunately I didn't get to this one in time.
