Description:

I went on a photographic shoot at Blackwell Forest Preserve near Naperville, Illinois on Halloween 2008. My shooting buddy that day, Candace, showed me a shot that just blew me away. I wished I had seen that reflection. Well I did, but it was just a small portion of the image. So I worked it until I liked it. I submitted the canvas print sized to 36" x 36" and 1.5" gallery wrap to the Plainfield Art League's Best of the Best Contest in January 2009. I took 8th place with this print. All the other entires were paintings. This image is part of my Silver Lake Collection I'm currently processing. This image is giclee printed on fine art papers or canvas like all my work. The canvas images are coated with a UV protectant and then stretched on 3/4" stretcher bars. Finally, I paint the canvas prints with clear acrylic to add visible brush strokes that enhance the feeling of the print.
