Description:

I went on a photographic shoot at Blackwell Forest Preserve near Naperville, Illinois on Halloween 2008. This image is an impressionistic tree with the "green" grass at the bottom and the blue "sky" at the top. This image is really a reflection of a tree on Silver Lake flipped upside down. This is part of my Silver Lake collection. This image is giclee printed on fine art papers or canvas like all my work. The canvas images are coated with a UV protectant and then stretched on 3/4" stretcher bars. Finally, I paint the canvas prints with clear acrylic to add visible brush strokes that enhance the feeling of the print.
