Chrisann - I can't thank you enough. You have made my day, week, etc. I like what your teacher said. Very positive thinking. Art is a creative/imaginative process. And this was a fun one. Thank you again Chrisann. :D

Not to mention~ An Excellent well know art teacher and adviser once told me. When someone tells you its great.. or even awful... that means ITS EXCELLENT ART! because the viewer had feelings towards your painting. THAT IS OUTSTANDING ART! And explained not everyone will like what you create, but if they tell you either way.. take that as a GREAT JOB knowing its excellent art, because you were able to capture art that creates feelings! So take that negitive comment, as he really means.. wow this is a great piece! and the title is the least of anyones concern! If he is getting upset over a title of history. This is so sad, that we now have to read comments like this.. when we all love to read positive comments with each others works. I know for me, I enjoy writing comments to other artists on here, because it Inspires me, and I enjoy to see what fine artists are able to create, design, and so on... I look forward to seeing your next piece .Because you Inspire me!

Alanna~ I think this is FANTASTIC~ And its a perfect title! We feel, think and create just like we do with our art works and then be creative with our titles... Doesn't mean it has to be driven towards correct history. In the United States~ we remember singing in the rain, with not just the song but the video, and the play. Many people did this version, so I can see how you came up with the title and I really think its shows your fine art skills~your creativity and this one is Outstanding! Not to mention, stay away from the jealous type of people on here. Comments are to be left for those whom are adults and enjoy your work. If they don't they should move on and not leave childest comments like above.. Art is liked and disliked by many because we all have different styles and tastes of art. GREAT JOB!

Love this piece Alanna, and love your great attitude and sense of humor. You have put a big smile on my face, thanks for showcasing this beautiful piece of art by you. You must be very proud of yourself, congratulations on a great job~Karen.

Karen, thank you so very much. I thought of how a director moves their hands in "6/8" time and wanted to show how musical it is. Flowing. Thank you again for your lovely and inspiring comments. Made my day. :D

Alanna, I see little reason for "JAMES" to have been so rude to you in his comment! What the hey goes on here? He seems so smug and all knowing? I would delete that comment and any others you may get from him in this tone of voice! I thought the purpose of viewing work here was "Art Appreciation", not "Title Appreciation"! SHAME ON YOU JAMES! Alanna I happen to think this work is of fine creative value!

Pamela, thank you so much. Imagination at work. :D

Anthony, very much appreciate your "lyrical." I first got this idea about 45 years ago before I could paint. Saw this design (which all music majors have to learn) and thought - wouldn't that be a clever painting. So here it is. Thank you again.
