Thank you for your comments Gareth. You are right with boath of your comments. Foxglove is the right name for this wild flower. Fox Tail is more or less a slang around here. I'll retitle it . And yes this picture wood look allot better with the foxglove off to one side and I do have better shot with the foxglove off to one side. I used this shot because I whated to make it look more natural and the foxglove is hiding two electrical towers heading up river to the dam above. I'll put the better picture on also and digitaly remove the towers and put it beside the picture I have now jest to see the comments on the two.

A great scene; we call this a foxglove in the UK (digitalis purpurea). Did you get a shot with the flower less central? Would be good to compare.
