Description:

Inspiration for this painting came during my visit to Sequoia National Park. The lone tree, absent it's foliage, stood tall and majestic against the background of younger trees and mountainous terrain. First Place Winner, National Veterans Creative Arts Competition, 2005. I am pleased to have donated this work of art to the GECU department at V A Central California Health Care System, Fresno, California.
