Lina this a potograph taken with my Kodak P712 with wide angle macro lens. The blue rectangle on the bottom is the Slip-Not Mural which I painted and is 70ft by approx. 10ft high. The sail in the upper left is a "stranded" boat built in the back as an outdoor tavern by Don Emrick who does't even know that it is sculpture not just building - built by hand with no plans it with stood hurricane charley in '04 with nothing out of place. One of my favorite places to"take my cups".

Charles, Super work! So much is going on in this and the sky/clouds accentuate the dynamic flow.

Wow,I am very humbled by seeing this great work! It must have been exhausting to produce on a rough stucco wall. Most of the murals I've done lately were idea in that they were indoors. Some opportunities have come up for big outdoor art but nothing ever came of them. You are excellent in this work and should be proud!

Description:

This one of my favorite murals in Punta Gorda, Florida which survived the destruction of hurricane charley in 2004. That is my brother Dennis driving his hunter 30 to a single hand win in a race on charlotte harbor with his back to us - going away - the only way you will see him if you are sailing against him.
