Description:
Four small canvases were first textured with crumpled tissue paper. Acrylic paints and glazes were then applied in vibrant pthalo blue, aqua, and pine green. The canvases are bound together with jute, and copper grommets and wire. Accents of copper stamping, metal brads, and genuine feathers finish it off. The "eye" feather is attached from behind so that it floats in the window. The copper lettering spells out the Tagalog word "silip" which means "peek".
