Description:
Wooden hand carved fish created without patterns and part of the Living Waters
Series of realistic fish. Each fish will be different since they are each sketched & carved freehand. The scales have been hand drawn with a charcoal pencil before painting; over half the scales have been rimmed in a white oil pencil giving more depth to the scales; then painted individually in muted blues, golds silvers & white watercolors with metal pearl acrylics added to the scales for an iridescent look when the light strikes them. The fish has been sealed in 6 coats of a high grade marine gloss varnish, which will protect the colors against fading or damage over time (high UV protectant). Snook #7 measures 29 inches in length, 10 inches wide and has a blue glass realistic fish eye. This fish come signed, dated, numbered along with its name by wood burning on the backside. There is also a wire hanger on the back for easy hanging one any wall. All Dryiver Carvings now come with a certificate of authenticity.
