Ken Breath Taking! You sure are a Master at Watercolors and painting flowers... And those water drops.. wow! fav/vt!

Ken Powers replied:

Thank you Chrisann! This is my first attempt at the water droplets. I can see where it would be easy to go overboard with them since they are so fun to render! LOL

Hello Ken, Always enjoy the strength in your paintings.

Ken Powers replied:

Thanks William! I am going for a bold look this year!

Sooo beautiful, Ken! Good job on the water droplets! They are so much fun that I tended to go overboard with them on Mary's Pansies. Beautiful work!

Ken Powers replied:

Thank you Bette! I had to stop myself before I went too crazy with the water droplets. They sure are fun!

Magical Ken - truly magical

Ken Powers replied:

Thank you very much Sibby. I had fun experimenting with some mixes with these new Sennelier paints!

Very nice work, Ken.

Ken Powers replied:

Thank you Kip! I appreciate you taking the time to have a look!

I think this is your best one ever! The color is spectacular and the water droplets add so much reality and life to the piece. I've never tried droplets....are they difficult?

Ken Powers replied:

Thank you Marsha! This paint is so vibrant and rich that it really brought this piece to life. I actually dulled some of the areas that were too vibrant. The dew drops were very easy. The hard part was knowing the painting was totally done and risking an additional element that I had never tried and could ruin the painting! LOL

excellent colours , you are right they are vibrant

Ken Powers replied:

Thanka James! The new version of the Sennelier paint is very heavily pigmented. There is also more honey in the mix. Great paint!
