So Much Make Believe
Drawing - Ink And Pencil On Archival Quality Paper
Truth is that this drawing will work in any of the four main directions, but I am choosing to display it in this direction because it speaks to me loud and clear when viewed this way. This drawing, like so many of my other drawings, explores the illusive nature of reality and perception. I think that the more social networks publish and share, the more all kinds of stories and tales we all encounter, some based on "fact" and some based on "fiction". In a way, all interpretation of life could be viewed as fiction, no matter how "real" our experience may seem at the moment. The stories of our lives live on, they have a life of their own. What really is the nature of "reality"? Is it all just some form of make believe?
