If printing on CANVAS, use this option instead:
Gallery framing is usually using a black frame (I use model HP4) and a white mat calculated at about 25-35% of the print's width.
As an example, a 16x20" print would need a 4" to 5" bright white matte.
These are just my suggestion as to how museums usually frame photographs. All the photos in my home, both monotone and color) are framed this way. It makes the image stand out, while giving a consistant look for all your hanging images.
