Description:
Creating/Designing Some Enchanted Evening was especially rewarding when I discovered the perfect silver novelty yarn to add to the outer flap which comes gracefully over the top to catch a vintage fashion button. Also, the knitted/felted ICORD handle is embellished with the same silver yarn making this bag a work of heart and art'. Who among us does not need the perfect 'little black bag' for an evening out or any time of the day? This bag is deceptively roomy as I added stitches to each side before felting and it surprisingly holds many items. Some Enchanted Evening is a song from one of my favorite musicals-'South Pacific 'and it also holds special meaning in my life as once a very long time ago-I met someone when this music was playing and he came across a crowded room to say 'Hello' and ask me to dance. It was an enchanted evening.
