When in the country where I live (Germany) a big boss can be given a relatively small fine for massive tax evasion and then get his 20 million euro pension paid out (in case the recession gets worse?) in one fell swoop without the slightest pang of conscience or feeling that his timing might be a little tactless, we can only speculate on who or what justifies such blatant political negligence or maybe turning a blind eye. We need not speculate about who foots the bill!
