Spriral Staircase Up At Cathedral Of Our Lady In Kutna Hora
The Church of the Assumption of Our Lady and Saint John the Baptist is a baroque-style church north-east of Kutná Hora in the Czech Republic and is part of a World heritage site with the chapel of All Saints. The church was built first in a gothic style at the end of the 13th-century. After the Hussite Wars, it was destroyed and re-built at the beginning of the eighteenth century by Jan Santini Aichel in the style of the baroque. The latest restoration of the church took place in 2001.
In this church you have access to get under the roof so you can see the construction - something that is rare. Also in this church, and on display, are the mumified remains of St Felix.
