St. Peter's Catholic Chuch

St. Peterís Catholic Church, built in 1833, stands high on a ridge overlooking historic Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Even though Harpers Ferry changed hands nearly 14 times during the Civil War, St. Peterís survived the bombings that damaged so much of the rest of the town. It also served as a hospital for both Union and Rebel soldiers.
