Stagelights original painting, broke its glass for the sixth time, in third frame, last week as I went to hang it at Barry Tanner's Studio in Boulder Creek, California, at new 41 pc show up the next three months. Each time this has happened, work sells. This time, two sets of cards here. Odd piece, the upper left hand corner became a cd cover for Chris Cosbey Quintet in Sausalito for the jazz album Carnivale. Tradition holds, and the original stays with me again.

thanks Marlene, this one from 1994.

Great colors, composition and figure drawing ability! Hurrah for you , James! Marlene

thank you Anand.

James, Your work is outstanding, amazing, inimitable and all those great superlatives that I cannot think of right now. I will continue to return to your site, here on FAA. Thank you dearly for your recent comment. The best to you always. Anne

thank you for the superlatives. I enjoyed going through what you've posted on FAA in your own profile.

I've kept the original of Stage Lights, as each time I've shown it when I put a price on it, the glass cracks, and other works sell. The upper left corner was scanned and found on myspace where it becomes the base graphic for Chris Cosbey Quintet "Carnivale" cd album cover.
