Starfish, X-ray. This marine animal is an echinoderm. It has five-fold symmetry with arms radiating outwards from the center. Its mouth is located on the underside and the anus on top of the central disc. With no front or back it can move over the seabed in any direction, walking on its hundreds of tiny tube feet. It does not, however, have a brain. Instead, rings of nerves surround the central esophagus and co-ordinate the movement of the starfish.
