Alex, I love the reference to art history. It is as though you channeled Van Gogh and felt what he felt as he looked out on the scene. His intention was to capture the enormity of the universe and the small scale of man...so the way you have scaled the figure and left it fairly colorless fits with the artist's idea. Very imaginative. Beautiful technique.
