Description
More and more artists now-a-days are remaking songs of great icons in the music industry. It bothers me to a point, nonetheless, it's these artist that are bringing the "oldies" back and becoming popular. Yet, somewhere in the back of my head I'm screaming... WT?#*! Are they doing!
I just finished washing the windows and finishing up two loads of laundry. I looked to my "chore" list, all I had left was sewing.
Cool, I actually don't mind doing that and I'm pretty good at it, I think. :)
Filled the coffee again and sat down with the items and the kit. Of Course, with my music going full tilt in my ears. I was listening to Scooter - Jump that rock (Whatever you want). Now, I've been listening to Scooter for years and never even noticed it till now. I finished two garments, while listening to Jump That Rock on repeat, because there was something so familiar about it.
"Whatever you want, Whatever you like, Whatever you say, You pay your money, You take your choice, Whatever you need, Whatever you use, Whatever you win,Whatever you loose"
Suddenly it hit me! Status Quo. I palm faced myself (with a OMG!) and bounded for my laptop. Got on youtube and cranked it.
Scooter does an excellent job bringing Status Quo's Boogie Rock to life. Because, like The Blue Man Group says... You have to idolize a Rock N' Roll Icon within your performances.
Down in the dungeon, creating Status Quo was a bit fatal, as I danced along to it. I jumped a bit to high and cracked my head in the production of Status Quo...Ugh! I need a helmet no matter what I do. So what I am told.
