Shown in this detailed drawing is the famous sidewheeler ALBANY steaming in New York Harbor before the turn of the century. In the distance a harbor tug and the Statue of Liberty visible.
Stmr. ALBANY was built in 1880 and operated for the Hudson River Day Line between Albany, New York and New York City. She later was sold and renamed POTOMAC and operated on her namesake river in Washington, D.C.
