Thank you. I sent it to a tattoo artist and will be meeting with him tomorrow for a consult. Interested to see what he says and comes up with (the ones I have shown it to all agree that is makes for an amazing drawing but not necessarily an easy tattoo). All the tattoo artists also said to put it on my back but I have one there already, but most importantly, I want this one where everyone can see it! Excellent work. Let me know if you have any other ideas or come up with something...I was never thinking of placing a tattoo on my forearm until I saw this...now I think I'm going for this and my upper arm a vintage-style map (with the same coloring as your picture). :-)

Hey Maggie, That would be a challenging task to take this abstract piece to a tattoo level, however, my first inclination would be to place it on your lower back or near your heart. The compass is a symbol of direction in life. Honestly, I would tell the tattoo artist to focus mainly on the darkest compass as the center piece and place several elements around the center compass to accentuate the piece. If I get time, I'll try to put something together for you specifically for the forearm.

Hi Christopher, LOVE your work, especially this piece. I'd like to get it as a tattoo on my forearm but I'm a woman with wee forearms. (Canvas space is about 3" x 4".) Would you be interested in customizing it for me or giving me any suggestions on how to make it fit? I love all the detail but not sure I can make it fit. I like it so much, I suppose I could put it on my ribcage, but I want people to see it. :-) Thank you.
