Description:
I have a great love for Stellar Jays here in Colorado. They have always spoken to me as little tricksters and thieves who are always watching, and never miss an opportunity. Here I captured my little friend in a totemistic sense, taking the opportunity to steal a star from the heavens for his own benefit, to add to the collection he already proudly displays.
This piece is originally done in acrylics with glitter paint and real crystal accents. Currently in my private collection.
