Description
The first snow in Kent County Michigan on a forgotten farm.
If the barn wood could speak (would it say) "No trespassing is a sign of goodbye to me. I'm still standing strong with rustic charm. And I once lived on a lively farm".
My heart takes me out and about to capture the fresh snow on our nearby forgotten barns in Michigan's countryside. A strong desire to preserve the past cannot be denied. But sometimes I'm too late and they are gone. The buildings in this image no longer stand. Captured by Ketchman with a Nikon gift. Thank you moocho much J&S.
A very sincere "Thank You" to the following groups for featuring "Stillness in Farm Time". Your selection, time and passion is greatly appreciated.

Julie, I simply adore this shot. It brings me back to growing up in Connecticut. I hear the soft crunch of the snow underfoot as I go to check on the horses. LOVE!
