Algorithmically Synthesized Digital Painting from a digital photo. ........................................................................... Digital paintings are constructed utilizing synthesized layers of brush strokes in a variety of styles (usually 3 or 4 per image but sometime 2X or 3X that many). A layer can be painted using a synthesizer patch designed to simulate a chalk drawing, a pen & ink, wet or dry watercolor, or any one of thousands of other styles. These are then layered in Photoshop and then carefully blended to create the look I wish to achieve for that particular image.
