I have no idea what possessed me to take this strange photo, other then I loved eating that delicious cantaloupe, and the rind was sitting near something else I am rather fond of.
That silly flamingo dances and whistles and was something we gave to my husbands step dad, Ralph. He loved his toys and the Flaming was his favorite. Anyone who walked into this room at the Care Center in his, very, later years was asked to push the button on the Flamingo's wing so it would whistle and dance.
That tiger coffee mug was one of the first of the collection of wild life mugs I bought more then 30 years go. I still have this Tiger, the Giraffe mug and the White Leopard mug. The original Leopard mug by Zak, of Taiwan was recently broken. ;-(
The Clown, and one other, were given to me by my husband when we lived in Nevada in the 1970s. I always loved the "Happy" Clowns" and never could understand why people hated clowns. Finally someone of a "younger" generation told me he didn't like clowns because of a movie he had seen when he was young, where the clowns were bad! How sad, that someone had to make fun, happy clowns, BAD!
