Donna, I'd love to see what would happen if you applied this dramatic angle--that invites the viewer deep into the picture--to the sun-filled view you painted straight-on from the Mountain, with evergreens in the foreground (granted, the light was coming from a different direction in that one). Your choice of Talya Johnson's 'Overview Abstract' for the group is excellent, & thanks for adding my 'Boathouse Row.'
