North Saanich, Canada
Summer Day On Halifax Harbour
Photograph - Photograph
Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada is one of the world's finest deep-water ports, home to container piers, cruise ship terminals, a naval base, and during WW2 it was the major assembly point for convoys crossing the Atlantic to Europe. The Macdonald bridge was opened April 2nd., 1955 and was the first of two such bridges connecting Halifax with the city of Dartmouth. This image was actually taken while driving over the MacKay Bridge on a lovely summer day.
