Sun Rays And Cumulus Cloud
Photograph - Photograph
Cumulus cloud. View of a large cumulus cloud with rays of sunlight coming from behind it. The rays are sometimes, but incorrectly, called crepuscular rays. True crepuscular rays are only seen when the Sun is below the observer's horizon. The radiating pattern of light is an effect of perspective - the rays are in fact parallel.
