Very eye catching Dan. The oranges and blues and all surrounding tones give a liquidity to the work, also a silkiness that gives the work a flowing effect. . After a while a landscape appears and ifelt that i was looking at the landscape from an aerial view, the palest tones sufficing to give the effect of moisture in the air or haziness that comes with some weathers. I find myself having time to stop and note each element of weather, the yellow of the sun, the windblown blues, and drill lines of rain, even the rust colours representing not only earth but effects of rain. It is interesting how the image allows you to stop, and take it all in instead of being caught up in the weather patterns.The combing effect also acts as indicators of ploughed fields and maybe even suggestions of buildings. maria
