Mark, by the way I posted that Renaissance Fair action shot on the Vote and Vote Often thread to be promoted that is where I saw this photo.Great floral imagery in the foreground and the light hits to the right and you are right on a tall set of bushes, which continues to make your eye go down towards the water in the background and see that remarkable sunset and sky. Description:

Black-eyed Susans are flowering plants that grow over three feet tall. They have green leaves up to six inches long.

Black-eyed Susans grow in open woods, gardens, fields, and roadsides. They grow quickly in just about any kind of soil.

These plants are most easily recognized by their flowers. They have yellow flowers with a brownish-purple center. Flowers are two to three inches across and grow on a stalk up to eight inches long.

Black-eyed Susans are very competitive and can push other plants out of an area.
Taken in Sodus Point, New York. Sodus Point is a village in Wayne County, New York, United States. The population was 900 at the 2010 census. The name is derived from a nearby body of water, Sodus Bay. It is considered within the larger Rochester metropolitan area.

The Village of Sodus Point is in the northeastern part of the Town of Sodus. This is a lakeside community surrounded on three sides by water.
In 1794, the village was the site of the first European-American settlement in Sodus town. Before the American Revolution, the area for centuries had been the territory of the Onondaga Nation.

During the War of 1812, the village was burned by a British raiding party, leaving all but one building demolished.[1] The village was rebuilt.

The area became an important port on Lake Ontario in the 19th Century. As the Erie Canal shifted state transportation patterns, the village's function as a port declined. In the later 19th century, it became a popular vacation resort, especially for people from Chicago and other cities during the summers.The village was incorporated in 1858.
