As someone who soloed in a J-3 (and eventually flew one under a bridge, because as we all know 18 year olds are immortal), and then later flying Super Cubs out of Godman Field, Fort Knox, (as a member of the post flying club) I especially appreciate your very fine artwork here. It was Bob Hoover who said words to the effect that the Cub is a very slow airplane that can only go fast enough to kill you. But that was a great time in my life and your drawing took me back for a few enjoyable moments, so thank you!
