Description:

Hilda's creative process is an illustration of the natural world and depicts a way of life in danger of extinction. This visual account relates to one semantic field: weaving. Hilda's work obeys an inner force that rejects materialism, embraces simplicity and marvels and God's creation. Here, she drew people at work and tried to draw the silence of their language in silence.

Each drawing is of charcoal on hand-made paper, created from wools and wildflowers. Available unframed for $475, price quoted is framed. Framed in a simple black frame with white matting. Stunning. Dimensions are for the framed images.
