Swans And Ducks In Lake Lucerne In Switzerland
Lucerne is a famous tourist city, located in the north-central part of Switzerland, part of the area of the country which speaks German. The city is a part of the Canton of Lucerne, which surprisingly is part of the district having the same name. The city is famous since it is located on the shore of Lake Lucerne, and is also the starting point for the mountain peaks located in the Alps of Mount Pilatus and Mount Rigi. Inside the city, there is a beautiful bridge called the Chapel Bridge, located across the Reuss River. The bridge is a famous landmark for the city.
A large number of tourists come to the city for the Lake Lucerne and also for seeing some of the wonderful sights that are there in the city. The lake also offers the sights of these swans and ducks, especially at a point close to where the River Reuss meets the lake and at a pier. These were not very scared of tourists and we got close to them.
