Description
Sylvan Pass (el. 8,524 feet ) and is a mountain pass located in the Absaroka Range in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. The pass provides access to the park from the east entrance.
The pass was named after nearby Sylvan Lake, and was formed by frost action breaking the rocks. The lake is fed by two streams, both of which has waterfalls off the side of the road with turnouts for parking. One is at the northeast end of the lake, the other is at the southeast end. An outlet stream flows from the west side of the lake into Clear Creek.

Great shot!! The symmetrical image is perfect. Even the sky and water look symmetrical which means you are a magician of making amazing composition! l/f

OMG, Robert! I am in awe of your spectacular photography! What amazing reflections in this pristine lake! Love how the sunlight highlights the green grass of the island and the tips of the foreground grass! Brilliant composition! It is a privilege to see the beauty of our earth through your eyes!
