Description:

This is a small painting I did on the weekend at the 12th annual Lac Beauport Watercolour Symposium. Yes, the bottles were actually there in the window and I was immediately drawn to this little capsule of delight.

Excellent work with the texture of the wood and the hints of rust around the nails. I love it.

Thank you for your comment on my Rock painting. I like this painting of yours. I like the way you captured the feeling of the weathered wood and chipping paint. Linda

Dubai,

This is a lovely painting Mary Ellen. You have done a great job on the texture of the wood and I love those little coloured bottles in the window! I would like to thank you also for your nice comments on my Dubai Horizon.

Hi Mary Ellen this appears to be another painting perfectly executed by you. The chipped paint and weathered wood is fantastic, the slight haze on the glass even appears to have been weather beaten by time.
