FAA WATERCOLOR MARK DOES NOT APPEAR ON FINAL SALES
In January 2011 after New York had gotten hit by a blizzard that left the metropolitan area covered in 21 inches of snow, two days later I decided to venture out to several areas for some winter time scenic shots. I came to this one small park in Manhassett, New York located on the north shore of Long Island and took my camera and prepared to go out into the 15 degree frigid weather. I took out my camera put on my zoom lens and set it to shudder speed since I knew this park was famous for geese, ducks and mallards and with any luck I would catch some feeding. When I got out of the car, I discovered the snow had not been stepped on and my feet made a loud crunching sound which immediatley alarmed the animals of the park. I kept going over a small hill and then all of a sudden a bunch of frightened geese , ducks and mallards began to fly around. This mallard came right at me as he began to take off and I was able to capture him in full flight. With his fantastic detailed wing span and colors.
