Description:

Terry Goedel- Tualip/Yakima Terry is a seven time world Hoop Dance champion. The Hoop dance is a very old at least 700 years. I will not attempt to tell the story of the Hoop but Whamo had nothing to do with it. The championships are every Febuary at the Heard Museum in Phoneix,Az. This is 6 shots from a series of 30 during a 15 minute program. My wife, Beth, did all the composite work. 100% profit from this photos will be donated to an educational fund 501(c)3 In A Good Way Photo Project. The fund is for Native American Photojournalism students at the college level.
