One of the "must shoot" areas of Grand Teton National Park is Mormon Road - a short dirt road that has handful of ancient barns. It provides a unique setting and perspective on this astonishing place called the Tetons. Our first afternoon was very disappointing, not one keeper in the lot. That evening, we got a call from a photographer friend in Denver who gave us some excellent advice and direction on how to shoot the barns for the desired effect. Next morning, after waiting for the other photographers to clear out, it took about 15 minutes to set up this shot, just as the early morning light was about to disappear. It was exactly right. And here it is.
