Photograph - Outdoor Color Botanical Landscapes Photo
What I've always called "Texas Sage" is apparently known as "Bush Germander" or Tuecrium fruticans (botanical name). That just shows how little I actually know about plants, though one can certainly learn more about native Texas plants and trees at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, where this image was shot in mid-October. Attractive silvery gray-green foliage, growing to about 4x6. In summer, this lovely plant produces lavender/blue flowers.
