This is one of the images that told me that you have strong photographic skills (reference my comments in resposne to the iPhone question in Self Taught Artists) This is well composed, well lit and has a lot of interesting texture. All in all an excellent photograph.

Zee Helmick replied:

Thank you so much Chris! This was one of those days that I didn't feel rushed while shooting, especially with the impending sunset. (I was actually there to shoot the full moonrise...which flopped, haha!) I think feeling relaxed and unrushed and in the moment are qualities needed for a good photograph. Thanks again for your supportive feedback!

Thanks for featuring this work in the Self Taught Artists group!

Zee this is gorgeous. I've been to Prescott but never knew this was around there.

Zee Helmick replied:

Methune, this is at Watson Lake off the 89. You should check it out next time you make it up to Prescott. (By the way, the last time I was down in Peoria I was going to try to make it to Lake Pleasant to shoot but didn't make it--next time!)
