Description:

This painting's based on 2 photos I took at the North Conway, NH rail museum. The 501 Consolidated engine was being rebuilt and was all in primer red paint. The snowplow nearby was in poor condition. The scene and location are completely fabricated, but I wanted to capture the ambient light that might occur late in the day with a sunset and reflections on snow.
