So nice...V

Thank you Anthony. No I never went to the woodshed, never that much warning. Usually just a slap when least expected. I agree Anthony. But ironically I also believe that much of the violence in the home today is BECAUSE those bad kids were never taught right as children. A few trips to the woodshed may not have been so bad after all and we might not have so many problems with crime today.

This is masterful work! I hope you don't have personal memories of going to the woodshed as a child under the guise of "spare the rod, spoil the child". I too hope these days are gone from our culure, but, sadly I don't think so.

Thank you Old Masters group for featuring my The Abandoned Woodshed watercolor and ink art on your front page. Much appreciated. Peace and Love, Windy Mountain

Thank you so much for your comment Michael. As a relatively new artist I've never shared my work very much before this, so comments mean a great deal right now. Perhaps the encouragement will project me forward in my artistic interests. I just viewed many of your works and was taken with Missing In Action. I wrote you a long comment. I hope you are not offended by my asking what I did. I just realized that piece may be very close to your heart. I have trickle down syndrome from PTSD since childhood. My father was keeping the engine running under fire in the only ship that was able to leave Pearl Harbor. Then I married and/or loved several very special Nam vets. Two out of four of them have passed away now. I hope to get to know you better and will continue to follow your work since I've put you in my watch folder. God bless you, Windy Mountain
