Description
Out of town friends visiting NYC, they wanted to see St. Patrick's Cathedral. Late afternoon and mass would begin soon. Here was a lady with an amazing beehive, a construction really, designer glasses and a coat that looked like angel wings. I could not resist putting her on canvas.

Kevin-you have surely captured this lady's character! I am sure I have met her in person somewhere! happy New Year! Thanks for comparing my Colors of Snow painting to Chagall-wow! Hope my head will fit into my scarf. :

thank you kevin, I'm not familiar with tehniques of painting but I like the way you paint, particularly this one, because it's out of the ordinary. I can't remember the last time I saw an older woman in a painting, usually everyone paints young girls!.

Kevin, I received my print or the Angel....over the weekend and the quality is impressive, just to let you know. She will hang on my wall with great pleasure and again thank you. I am very, very pleased.

This painting has captured my heart and the hearts of my family. It is the exact image of my Irish grandmother who was dearly loved. Thank you

hI Kev....love this lady...we had a woman who ran the local movie house and she had a big beehive like her,,we called her" the bun"..she was a terror trying to keep mischevious 10 year olds like us in line..as she passed we all threw our popcorn boxes at her.....love her expression and the white dress ...great work as always...your buddy, ted
