Description
ABOUT THIS PICTURE:
While tending his father-in-law Jethro's sheep in the land of Midian, Moses saw a baffling sight on Mount Horeb. A bush was on fire, but it did not burn up. Exodus 3:2 -- And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
Moses went over to the burning bush to investigate, and the voice of the LORD called to him saying "I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt." Exodus 3:10.
