Description
The central theme of this beautiful Ketubah is the crown which appears at the top. This crown is reminiscent of the chuppah, the marriage canopy under which two people become a couple commencing a new life together. The entire Ketubah was meticulously hand-painted in ink by the artist. Though inspired by the Sephardic style, her use of colors is entirely original, as is the design. The doves, flowers and grapevines represent symbols of fertility, life, love and the bounty of the earth.
The text is in both Hebrew and English and is based on the traditional text.
The ketubah arrives by post in a cardboard tube. It is a giclee print of the original work which was drawn by hand.
