Wow! F & V for sure! Interestingly, my husband's grandmother, Mildred Hansen, was a direct descendant of James Cook. Our ancestry records show that Captain Cook's son married Amanda Melinda Blood, the daughter of Captain Thomas Blood, regarded by the English as a pirate, and by the Irish as noble. Thomas Blood is the only person to successfully steal England's Crown Jewels. WONDERFUL painting, and one I wish I had seen while Mildred was still with us!
