Description:

A monochromatic study of shadows. This interesting wood formation on the fence surrounding our yard caught my attention. I was learning that a cast shadow of an object is darker then a shadow on the object itself.

I like this one very much, althgouh all your work is great. The composition is strong and dynamic. I see fences like this in Texas, the weathered wood and wind polished, dry surfaces are very apparent in this painting.
