The Gate, is an original oil painting by Janis Tafoya, this painting is an original that came from the heart and mind of Janis Tafoya.....It depicts the Gates we
go through starting with conception...We all have good joyous times where life is wonderful....The blue sky and the light colored clouds depict that time in
life....But also in life we have dark times when there is sadness and things are not so rosy...The storm clouds on the right side of this painting represent these times. We have stairs to climb in life...this could represent many different situations because we are all different and so the challenges we may
face in life are different. So this painting can apply to each one of
us in different ways.
my paintings spring from the heart and emotions....these paintings are original works of art..For me painting is emotional therapy and when I am creating art I go to my special place, where time stands still, problems are gone and there is at last peace in life. My hope for you is that you will experience some of the peace when you view this artwork...Enjoy
