Description:

All Bead work was hand-sewn by artist Sula Spirit using #8 small beads. This suit took 7 months to create and was drawn, beaded and created from scratch by artist Sula Spirit of New Orleans, LA. This piece is being sold for a great cause. To raise money to adopt my son from Ghana, West Africa. Please know this is a sacred piece with great Spiritual value and each bead was spiritually woven in as a tribute to the Great Mothers..Hanging from her breasts is the Egyptian symbol for life - The Ankh. The Great Mother gives life and nourishes us until we are strong enough to receive life's food. The cirlcles or disks represent ancestors and spirit guides from the four corners of the earth that come to her to give power, strength and assistance. The bands on her arm represent the colors of each Orisha and the white marks are beaded tribal marks that celebrate the warrior path. This suit came from my soul and is being sold to receive the gift of Motherhood. Please note: IT WILL BRING BLESSINGS TO YOUR LIFE AND A BLESSING TO MY LIFE AS WELL.
